Persona fans received some good news this weekend with Atlus announcing the release dates for both Persona 3 Portable And the Persona 4 Golden, Two games pre-scheduled for release in 2023. It’s still releasing in 2023 as expected, but what people probably didn’t expect is a simultaneous release. Atlas confirmed this week that both Persona 3 Portable And the Persona 4 Golden Modern platforms will launch at the same time on January 19.
The latest in a long line of Persona announcements was shared on Saturday in a tweet from Atlus accounts that confirmed the release dates of the two Persona games. This announcement came along with the release of some new artwork for the character that has been well received by the community so far.
As others have pointed out, the tweet only listed the Xbox and PC platforms on which games including Xbox Game Pass will be released, but that’s not the full list. The official Persona site announcing these games and more of this year’s biggest anniversary announcements has confirmed that the games will still be coming to Xbox One and Xbox Series X | S, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC platforms, so those who plan on zooming in on their Persona kits on those platforms will still be able to do so.

Atlus has also been asking players what types of remasters or remakes they want as well as what they might look for in new games. Fans have responded similarly by naming the remakes they’d like to see more of, but Atlus hasn’t announced any specific plans for future character games or alternate versions of existing titles.
