Harris County, Texas (KTRK) – Representatives said a woman is in critical condition after she was shot outside a home in northwest Houston.
Harris County sheriffs said they responded to the shooting at 17630 Waverly Grove Dr.
Upon their arrival, deputies found a woman in her 20s with a bullet wound to the stomach, according to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.
Reportedly, Life Flight took the woman to hospital in a critical condition.
Authorities said they did not specify the cause of the shooting.
According to investigators, it appears that the woman was shot in the driveway of a house.
There is no suspicious information available as MPs are looking for witnesses or surveillance video of the incident.
A weapon was found, but it was unclear if the weapon was linked to the shooting, the Higher Council for Relief and Development said.
