chainsaw man Gearing up for the highly anticipated premiere of the anime in just a few days from the time of this writing, it’s ready to show off its next move with the reveal of some new character designs, voice additions for Angel, and more of the wild dingy demons you’ll face in the new series! The anime adaptation of Tatsuki Fujimoto’s original manga series is the most anticipated manga for this year’s anime premiere overall, and it’s hard not to see why when you consider all the wild battles we’ll be seeing in action. And at the heart of it all, are even monstrous demons.
Casting demons ahead of the premiere of Chainsaw Man in just a few days, the likes of the newly announced Maaya Uchida as Angel Devil, Natsuki Hanae as Shark Fiend, Yuya Uchida as Violence Fiend, Saori Goto as Spider Devil, Yo Taichi as Akane Sawatari, and Daiki Hamano as Katana Man. Character builds for each of these new additions have also been revealed, and you can check them out below as released by the series’ official Twitter account:

These new faces join the previously announced cast of Kikunosuke Toya as Denji, Tomori Kusunoki as Makima, Shogo Sakata as Aki Hayakawa, Fairouz Ai as Power, Shiori Izawa as Pochita, Mariya Ise as Himeno, and Karin Takahashi as Kobeni Higashiyama and Taku Yashuiro as Hirokazu Arai, and Kenjiro Tsuda as Kishibe. Ryu Nakayama will direct the new anime for MAPPA Studio. Hiroshi Seko will lead the script, Kazutaka Sugiyama will provide character designs, Tatsuya Yoshihara as action director, Kiyotaka Uchiyama as demon designer, and Kinsuke Ushio as music composer.
chainsaw man It will run 12 episodes overall for its first season (with a new ending theme accompanying each episode), and as to what to expect, Crunchyroll teases the new anime like this, “Denji is a teenage boy who lives with the Chainsaw Devil named Pochita… because of the debt his father left behind. He leads a rough life while paying off his debts by harvesting demon corpses from Pochita. One day, Denge is betrayed and murdered. As his consciousness fades, he makes a contract with Pochita and is resurrected as a “chain-chained man – a man with a demon’s heart.”
