On Sunday at New York Comic Con, Marvel announced several new series featuring X-Men characters, including Wolverine’s clone, X-23. X-23: Deadly Regeneration It is a 5-issue limited series written by Erica Schultz, with art by Edgar Salazar, and sold in March 2023. Marvel has not revealed further details about the title. It’s immediately interesting to note that it’s “X-23” when Laura Kinney claimed the name Wolverine (with Logan’s blessing) for some time. Title A play that plays on “Deadly Genesis” from 1975 Giant Size X Men #1, the story that introduced the “all-new and all-different X-Men” to the world. Perhaps this is a hint that killer regeneration This is a flashback story. In this film, Daphne Keane played the role of X-23. The actress (who has remained in contact with Jackman) previously revealed that 20th Century Fox had plans to show X-23 before Disney bought the studio and put the X-Men projects on hold. Additional ads focused on other X-Men characters included Rogue & Gambit, a limited series written by Stephanie Phillips, with art by Carlos Gomez. The first edition will go on sale in March 2023. Finally, Betsy Braddock: Captain Britain written by Tenny Howard, pencils by Vasco Georgiev, and covers by Erica Dorso. The story begins in February 2023, and sees Howard continue Betsy Braddock’s adventures as Captain Britain after the events of the Knights of X.
The announcements came during the Women of Marvel episode on the final day of New York Comic Con. Also at New York Comic Con, Marvel revealed a new X-Men team that debuted in a series led by Lucas Bishop. All of these new X-Men titles will appear in February or March 2023.
