Straight from New York Comic Con, Netflix has released the full trailer for Wednesdaycoming Adams family The series reboot features Gina Ortega in the title role. A lot of new footage was revealed in the full trailer but two major confirmations were also shown with the confirmation of two highly anticipated characters. The first is the actual reveal of who will play Uncle Fester in the series Portland Star Fred Armisen played the role, and the second is to reveal the role of Christina Ricci in the film, where she played Nevermore Academy coach Marilyn Thornhill. Since it was confirmed that Richie, who played Wed Addams in the ’90s Barry Sonnenfeld films, fans have been wondering about her role in the series. Now that the role of Richie has been confirmed, she appears to be playing a teacher at New Wednesday School, the cat is officially out of the bag. However, for Ortega, playing Wednesday Adams was really nerve-wracking, but the performance against Ricci only made it worse.
“I felt like I was already having a panic attack when I was told,” Ortega previously revealed Empire Magazine. “I was awed. She’s a really cool lady. I was happy to meet her, but the first time we did a scene together and she had to see me the way she did 30 years ago, it was nerve-wracking.”
