Bleach: a bloody war for a thousand years The series will premiere on October 10th, and the series will air with Hulu in the US (and Disney+ for international fans) alongside new episodes hitting Japan. Bleach’s official website revealed earlier that the first episode of the new series is titled “The Blood Warfare”, featuring Masashi Kudo as the animation director, Cindy H. Yamauchi as the animation director, and Tomohiso Taguchi as the scriptwriter. The series premiere was described as follows:
“It is noticeable that gems are disappearing one by one in the real world, and the Spiritual Society and Technology Development Bureau is in turmoil. Meanwhile, in Karakura City, two newly appointed Shinigami named Ryunosuke Yumiki and Shino Madarame encounter a hollow as soon as they arrive. Ichigo helps Kurosaki and his two companions who were helpless amid the sudden attack. But two days later, a man wearing a mask appeared in front of Ichigo and the others who interacted with Ryunosuke who had finally regained consciousness. And all the while, strange things were happening in the Soul Society.”
