Rick and Morty take on dinosaurs in the latest episode of Season 6

Rick and Morty You’re officially halfway through for Season 6, and that means it’s time to see how the second half of the new episode changes. Season six opened with a major premiere that introduced some huge new changes to the series’ status quo and sparked new lore for the future, but episodes since then explore more episodic adventures that highlight new aspects of the Smith family. So it was fun to see each new episode as it was hard to guess exactly what would happen in any given week.

This is especially true with going into Season 6 Episode 6 after publishing early promotional material saying there will be an alien invasion of some sort, it turns out that the title “Juricksic Mort” was referring to the fact that some kind of highly intelligent dinosaur came to Earth and really shook things up. But pretty much like every other episode of the new season so far, it was really just the beginning of the stupidity we’ll see in the rest of the season. Get full details of everything important featured in Rick and Morty Season 6 episode “Juricksic Mort” below:

  • The mysterious rift from the Season 6 premiere is still open, and Rick confirms he’s restarted the portal gun. Taking Morty to school, the two talk about how good it is to have adventures without using the gates. When Morty arrives at school, Mr. Golden Fold and the other students panic when a fleet of ships begins to land around the world. Inside, a group of clever, bejeweled helmeted dinosaurs that give them telekinetic powers are revealed.
  • Standing in front of the United Nations, intelligent dinosaurs discover that the other dinosaurs are all dead. They explain that millions of years have been traveling between worlds to help each of them advance, but are concerned to learn that they have been wiped out. Instead, they’re now giving humans time to relax and make more Marvel movies, ready to take charge and start making things peaceful for people everywhere. This includes ending world hunger, the need for jobs, money, and the need to complain about anything.
  • Beth and the rest of the Smith family started to hate feeling useless, then Rick said they all became like Jerry in this situation. They talk to Jerry about “how does he do it” and Jerry is very happy that it “finally happened”. After pulling out a manuscript he’s been working on for years, he seeks to offer something. Then Rick and the boss meet, and the boss reveals his boredom with the way the dinosaurs brought peace. But Rick refuses to do anything about it because he is content with everything.
  • It turns out to be a ploy from Rick and he agrees to help get rid of the dinosaurs in exchange for hosting the Oscars. Then Rick approaches the dinosaurs and tries to get them to leave by possibly heading to the multiverse, but the dinosaurs refuse because they think they are smarter than him. In fact, they make a much better portal gun and Rick gets angry at the fact that they carry themselves that way (even if they go so far as to refuse to close the rift). But Morty is trying to get to the heart of why Rick feels this way. Rick gets angry at the fact that he feels weak, and then decides to take the fight to them.
  • Heading to a planet where dinosaurs were colonized, it turns out that they became extinct there millions of years ago. It’s the same for a host of other planets they visit as they’ve also created museums for each of the dinosaurs. Each one collides with a meteorite, and Rick discovers that it may be the source of the meteorites that wiped them out again. Back on Earth, the dinosaurs talk to both humans, and it’s been revealed that they actually provide a copy of the book Jerry wrote and installed (but they don’t get credit or sales for it).
  • Rick shows and explains that every planet has dinosaurs hitting meteorites, and he explains that while dinosaurs evolved to become good settlers, there’s a type of rock that turned out to be a lot of hate heading into each planet to destroy them nonetheless. . Then humanity hates dinosaurs, and they are forced to go on talk shows to discuss what to do about the next meteor that is now heading to Earth. They explain that they are trying to figure out what to do.
  • They decide to leave the planet forever, and return the Earth to the chaotic way it was before with war, famine, pollution, and more. Then Rick hosts the Oscars and does a terrible job and gets drunk, but it’s all written anyway. While the dinosaurs left, they were waiting for Mars and asking for a meteor to hit them. Rick doesn’t want to see that happen, so he heads to Mars to “sacrifice” himself along with the others to force them out of it because they wouldn’t be the virtuous who give their lives “altruistically”.
  • When they survive, they decide to do him a “favor” and mend the broken rift that Rick refused to repair in order to keep him in a multi-ring arc in the future. Here the Deity Objects hit a dead end, and no one really gets a good ending to what they want in the end. Then, Rick fixes the portal gun again as the episode ends, and he and Morty go to Morty. It teases that the classic episodes will start again, which is definitely a strange way to end the episode for Rick who has been challenged by a race of other divine beings. After the credits, dinosaurs find the planet, empty it and start slicing through thorny pits with their awesome skateboards.
