Michael J. Fox, who suffers from Parkinson’s disease, took to the stage first, with the audience applauding. Fox and Lloyd were running on the NYCC to get a look at their work at Back to the future Franchise business. If you remember, their partnership wasn’t actually the original intent, as Eric Stoltz was initially cast as Marty McFly in the first Back to the Future movie. Six weeks into filming, Stoltz was replaced by Fox, and the rest was history.

“The announcement – at 1 a.m. after we’ve been shooting for six weeks – was that the actor playing Marty would not be playing Marty, and that tomorrow we would start shooting with Michael,” Lloyd said during the hearing. (for every SYFY). “I felt like I could barely get past [first] Six weeks and now I’m going to do it again?! “

Fox took the opportunity to praise Christopher Lloyd’s performance in the film, saying he just had to respond to a lot of what his co-star had done and said in order to make things work.

“All I had to do was respond,” Fox said. “Just take it and let it sink in. I thought it was cool. That was the whole thing: be with Chris and make him be Chris, and enjoy it… It was fun. Anytime I worked with him I knew it was going to be a good day.”

all three Back to the future The movies are currently streaming on Peacock.
