Live newscast and own production manager. This person will be tasked with live broadcasting and streaming of news programs using both automated television production systems as well as a traditional production environment. This position also requires extensive knowledge of television sound preparation and execution for studio and field production.
Responsibilities:
Directing live local newscasts and recorded specials using Ross Overdrive Productions
Direct live and recorded special event programs in a traditional production truck environment using a Ross Carbonite adapter
Plan and prepare audio for special field productions and audio playback for these shows using the Midas Pro 2 audio console.
Basic qualifications:
Thorough knowledge of traditional and automated television production systems.
Thorough knowledge of studio and field of video and audio production.
Required qualifications:
At least 3 years of experience directing live newscasts using automated production systems (eg Ross Overdrive, Grass Valley Ignite, Sony ELC)
Audio experience in setting microphones, pre-fade, IFB etc. for live studio and field production.
Proven leadership experience.
You must be willing to work in any shift
