Earlier this year, Nintendo pulled the curtain on a trio of amiibo based on Splatoon 3: Inkling is yellow, octoling is blue, and small. At the time, the company only told fans that the numbers would arrive during the holiday release period, but now they have a more specific date: November 11! As with the previous Splatoon amiibo, clicking on these numbers into the NFC reader of the Nintendo Switch console will unlock special in-game equipment, including a stylish helmet with a flock of hair similar to that of Smallfry.
Nintendo announced the release date along with a brand new trailer, which can be found in the tweet embedded below.

The Yellow and Blue Octoling Inkling is designed to resemble those shown on box art for Splatoon 3. Each game in the series features a different pair of characters on the cover, and Nintendo has released an amiibo based on each one. Splatoon 3 It is the first game in the series to feature Octoling on the cover, although a trio amiibo based on Octolings was released to coincide with Splatoon 2‘s Octo Expansion. While Smallfry does not appear in Splatoon 3As cover, creatures play an important role in the game’s single-player campaign, so it’s no surprise to see the number on display.
After the release of the three amiibo, it will be interesting to see if figures based on Shiver, Frye and Big Man will be announced.
