Margot Robbie Fought for a Nude Front Scenes at The Wolf of Wall Street | movies | entertainment

Margot Robbie had a really big hit when she starred opposite Leonardo DiCaprio in 2013’s The Wolf of Wall Street. The Oscar-winning film tells the true story of Jordan Belfort (played by Leonardo DiCaprio) and his rise to the top of Wall Street by abusing the stock market. In the movie, DiCaprio’s character married Robbie, who was playing the second wife of the brokerage, Naomi Lapaglia. When I walked in, she was completely naked.

In the huge scene, Robbie seductively unraveled the sliding doors and stood in front of DiCaprio wearing nothing but stockings and high heels.

But behind the scenes, director Martin Scorsese wanted to make this iconic moment much more desirable — but Robbie refused.

The actress revealed in 2014: “I think nudity for the sake of nudity is shameful. If they only put it on so a girl raises her profile, it’s disgusting. And you can always tell. But I also think it’s disgusting when someone is naked in real life, in the movie.” They easily leave the bra off, or lift the bed sheet.” (via telegraph)

So, when Scorsese asked Robbie to wear more clothes, her idea was rejected. She continued, “So when Marty was trying to help me, and she said in the scene where she seduces Jordan, I could probably wear a robe, I said she wouldn’t. She should be naked. She lays her cards on the table.”

Of course, this became one of the scenes in which the blonde bombshell became famous. He has given her a host of amazing roles in Hollywood.

Since then, Robbie has claimed the franchise of playing DC Comics villain Harley Quinn, and is set to star in the reboot of Pirates of the Caribbean, replacing Johnny Depp in the process.

However, at the time, she was uncomfortable while filming the nude scene in question.

In 2018, she revealed, “It’s not when you watch the movie, but in fact, we’re in a small bedroom with 30 crew crammed into. All the guys. And for 17 hours I pretend to be affecting myself. It’s so weird and you have to bury the embarrassment and the absurdity, Really deep, and totally committed.”
