If you keep up Dragon Ball: The Breakers News via the game’s English Twitter account, there’s still a chance you might have missed this reveal since it was shared by the Japanese Twitter account. The trailer in question shows scenes from the game before it ends with a mood for Season 2 showing a great ape with the note that we’ll see more of that in Season 2.
Based on the armor the great ape wears in this teaser, this appears to be Vegeta’s transformation when he first reaches Earth and fights Goku. Dragon Ball: The Breakers It features a transformation-like progression, so one might assume that the Great Ape would be the last stage of anything that Rider might have. There is also the question of how this type of character can fit into a game like Dragon Ball: The Breakers It’s naturally outperformed Survivor players, though Bandai Namco will likely share more thoughts on that after the game’s release.

For this launch, Dragon Ball: The Breakers It will start with 3 different invaders to play with: Frieza, Cell and Majin Buu. Various civilian characters will make up the survivor team including some notable characters such as the gun-carrying farmer. While some characters are more nondescript compared to instantly recognizable villains, survivors will be accompanied by skins and costumes that make them look like characters familiar to players.
