Astros vs. Mariners Game 2: Houston refocusing to go up 2-0 after Yordan Alvarez walk-off home run!

Houston, Texas (KTRK) – The Astros have a golden opportunity to take a 2-0 lead over their division rival, the Seattle Mariners, when they play ball in Game 2 on Thursday afternoon.

Houston avoided opening the NFL Series on Tuesday in a 0-1 hole when Jordan Alvarez Homer bombed three rounds with the team behind 7-5. They were less than four runs in a game started by Justin Verlander.

Stros is focused on building momentum on the historic explosion after a funky day off between home games scheduled by Major League Baseball.

Houston sends Framber Valdez down the hill for Game 2, where he is opposed by Seattle’s All-Star flamethrower, Luis Castillo.

The Astros lead 1-0.
