Orange Cassidy finally won a championship at AEW Dynamite this week, defeating PAC for the All-Atlantic Championship in the AEW Dynamite main event. The end of the match saw “The Bastard” attempt once again to use the hammer of the ring bell, only for Danhausen to thwart his attempt. He grabbed a second hammer from under the ring, but was met with a powerful blow from Cassidy. Then “Freshly Squeezed” refused to use the hammer himself and Buck scored with Orange Punch for the win.
Tonight Cassidy went 0-8 in championship matches in AEW, failing to win the AEW World, TNT, IWGP United States, All-Atlantic and Trios Championships. The installation also gave him his first win over PAC, as their rivalry extended into 2020.

Why is Orange Cassidy acting like this?
Cassidy has become a fan favorite among AEW fans even though his weak personality makes him a funky wrestler. In one of his rare interviews with ESPN In 2020, he clarified his character.
