One of the biggest PlayStation franchises is now coming to Steam Deck. Over the past few years, PlayStation has been trying to expand its offerings for some time now by pushing titles to the PC. Many of these are old games that actually got the majority of their sales on PlayStation and have been in the market for several years. This strategy allows PlayStation to release the game again and use all the good talk from the console version to attract a new audience on PC. It’s especially smart when a game has an upcoming sequel, so it can push PC players to buy a PlayStation to see what happens next in that particular story.
With the recent release of Steam Deck, there is a wider audience dedicated to these PlayStation ports. It has been confirmed that the next Uncharted: The Legacy of Thieves Verified for Steam Deck. This means that the game has been optimized and tested to run on Steam Deck, which is not guaranteed with every Steam Deck game. Many Steam Deck games are “playable”, although they may have many issues that can create a lesser experience. However, it appears that PlayStation is trying to appeal to the Steam Deck audience as all of its ports for Steam Deck have been verified so far. Uncharted: Thieves’ Legacy Already available on PlayStation 5 and is a remastered collection of unknown 4 And the Unknown: The Lost Legacy. For those who have played the game on PS4, it’s not exactly the most surprising version, but for those who have never played games, this PC version is probably a great way to experience the game. And if you like to play cinematic action games on the go, Steam Deck is up to the task. If you don’t already have a Steam Deck, Valve has dropped the booking requirement and you can ship it in less than two weeks as long as there’s stock.
