La Mark, Texas (KTRK) – A heavy truck fire on Bay Highway could slow high school football teams, bands, and their fans as they head home from games Friday night.
All major lanes on northbound I-45 have been shot down at FM 1764 in La Marque, according to the Texas Department of Transportation.
The Houston TranStar website shows that one car was moved at 8:46 p.m. in a possible attempt to reopen a lane to traffic.
As of 9pm, TxDOT was unable to give an estimate of how long the shutdown would last.
The ministry said work crews should remove debris from this stretch of road and construction.
