Marvel Studios has officially concluded the first season of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, with the season finale showing earlier this week. In the previous episode we saw the return of Matt Murdock / Daredevil (Charlie Cox) and he was definitely reborn. His appearance seemed like it would be the only time we’d see the hip appear in the series, but he reappeared toward the end of the finale. There was a post-credits scene at the end of the episode, but it turns out that the post-credits were originally meant to be very focused. During a new interview with directHowever, director Kat Cuero revealed that Daredevil’s March of Shame from Episode 8 was originally supposed to be the post-credits sign of the end.
“Oh, his shameful career was originally that way,” Cuero told the website. “And then I think it’s better to be rhythmically what it is. But that’s where that was originally.”
Daredevil looks very different from his appearance in the Netflix series, where the character wears a red and yellow suit instead of his red suit from the original series. It seems that the appearance of the character in the series was not up to the executive producers of the series, but Marvel themselves. During a recent interview with She-Hulk: Law Head writer Jessica Gao revealed that Marvel Studios chose Daredevil’s appearance for the series.
“What they usually do is they kind of allow us to suggest what we want to do rather than give us directions,” Gao revealed. When they first told us about it [Daredevil] It was a possibility we couldn’t believe. As we were coming up with the story and what we wanted him to do, we were shocked by the fact that they kept not saying no. The only thing I had no control over was the suit. They knew exactly what they wanted the suit to look like.”
