During an appearance at the London Film Festival recently, Emily Blunt spoke about her husband’s involvement in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, saying she hopes there’s more to this score, but at this point she never knows. The casting of Krasinski is an interesting experience for Marvel, as fans have been actively inviting him to get the role. The decision to bring him in, then, provokes a conflict: whoever takes on the part when FF gets their own movie will necessarily be compared to Krasinski. Except that Krasinski only got 3 minutes, not a movie. So really, the new actor will be compared to what fans thought Krasinski would have done.
