Britney Greiner spends her birthday behind bars and thanks wife Biden for the support

Britney Greiner She will spend her 32nd birthday behind bars in a Russian prison, while his wife Cheryl thanked the president Joe Biden and managing to work tirelessly in hopes of bringing her home before she turns 33.

Monday marks eight months since a Phoenix Mercury player was arrested for having cannabis oil in her belongings at a Russian airport, and Cheryl says the class has been more than a challenge.

“I’ve felt every moment in my seven stressful months without her,” Cheryl said in a video.

“I would like to thank President Biden for the administration’s efforts to secure her release,” Cheryl added.

“As my family and I continue this journey, I want to thank our friends, leaders and supporters who continue to stand with us and advocate for Britney’s quick and safe return.”

Cheryl has spoken out about the mental battles Britney had while behind bars, saying that her wife feels her life no longer matters and she fears it will be forgotten in Russia.

“Let’s share a unified commitment to bring all Americans back to their families and loved ones,” Cheryl said.

With Tuesday being Britney’s birthday, Cheryl invited her followers to continue sending support on social media using the hashtags #WeAreBG and #BringThemHome.

The government has been negotiating with Russia…and claims to have made a “substantial” offer to bring her home as soon as possible.

Greiner was sentenced to nine years in prison in August and will appeal next week.
