Fans first noticed the massive back tattoo of Tony on his back during the season 3 premiere 90 Days: Single Lifeand immediately set off alarm bells with international viewers from or familiar with Croatia. The image may look similar to the one on the Croatian flag, but the pattern clearly resembles the shale used by a Croatian fascist group known as the Ustaše.
