Monster High is back, and Mattel is celebrating the recent launch of Monster High: The Movie and the imminent launch of the animated Nickelodeon series with a new line of dolls, play sets and vehicles. Mattel first introduced their Monster High line in 2010, and it quickly became one of the most successful and beloved children’s properties ever. It centers around the children of famous monsters and other mythical creatures who attend high school in the fictional city of New Salem. The franchise seeks to foster a more accepting world where everyone takes pride in their authentic selves, which is more appropriate now than ever.
The latest reboot of the Monster High series includes the aforementioned animated series and live action action, along with a reimagined lineup of games.
The first of 26 episodes of the animated series New Monster High premieres on Nickelodeon just before Halloween on Friday, October 28.
