Will the scheduled MLB playoffs affect WWE NXT and AEW Dynamite this Tuesday?

The MLB was forced to push the Monday night ALDS game between the New York Yankees and the Cleveland Guardians to Tuesday due to heavy rain. The match was rescheduled for 4:07 EST on Tuesday afternoon, which could be a problem for AEW. Because the first game of the MLS Championship will take place on Wednesday night on TBS, AEW Dynamite He’s been bumped from his usual night to Tuesday night, which means he’ll be competing head-to-head with NXT 8 to 10 p.m. Eastern time.

In theory, Game 5 rescheduled from ALDS (which also airs on TBS) shouldn’t be an issue for Dynamite since there are roughly four hours between first pitch and the opening bell. But three games went into extra innings already this season and game two Yankees/Guardians scored in four hours 10 minutes while going 10 runs. Stay tuned for more updates on the situation as they become available.

Shawn Michaels recently spoke with ComicBook and discussed what fans should expect from this new era of NXT—”I definitely don’t want to downplay anything, but I don’t know it’s a new era where there’s a big change,” Michaels said. “Sure, there was black and gold, there was 2.0 and now we have it, I think what I think is a hybrid. I mean, we don’t want this NXT to be defined as anything other than your NXT, to be totally honest. I don’t want that to be Hunter or Vince or even Lee for that matter. This is NXT that belongs to the NXT men and women who belong to our system and to those passionate, loyal fans watching some support us, to be completely honest.”
