Mob Psycho 100 introduces the big villain Cliffhanger for season 3

Mob Psycho 100′s Season 3 has unobtrusively developed a major plot in the first two episodes so far, but the latest episode of the series finally paid off with the introduction of the new season’s first major villain in the big cliffhanger! The second season of the anime ended with Shigeo Kageyama facing his toughest Esper rival yet, and it resulted in a giant cauliflower that is now a major part of the setup in Season 3. Psycho Helmet’s growing cult cult from the first two seasons has her eyes set on her too, and the whole thing has come to a head.

After the ominous teasing of the first two episodes of season 3 where Dimple appears to enact a plan for a giant broccoli (which has been dubbed the “divine tree” for the people who live around it), the third episode of the season has put his plan into action as a new cult leader Psycho Helmet has now emerged with control of Giant cauliflower. And it’s taken in an even more terrifying look based on Mob’s designs unfamiliar with members of the Psycho Helmet cult:

Who is the big villain of Mob Psycho 100 in Season 3?

It was explained in Episode 3 of the season that the Psycho Helmet sect had grown to a massive number, and they were looking for a new leader who could unite their group along with all the other wild groups out there. While other psychics tried to take over, the “leader” of the Psychic Helmet Sect appeared during the meeting and introduced himself. With a creeping, meandering look reminiscent of the tree-branching vines, her show of strength frightened everyone from the audience and was now in the midst of a complete takeover.

Before this revelation, Mob himself had been aspiring to become the sect leader as well. Dimple approached him about working together to become the type of deity the cult worshiped, and while Mobb rejected him, it was clear from the start that Dimple himself had internalized all the desires people were feeding on giant Broccoli. He’s gotten stronger, and now he’s taking matters into his own hands.

It’s not hard to connect the dots with the fact that this is more of Dimple’s plan in action, but it remains to be seen what he will do with the influence of this new cult behind him.
