Fabian Frankl of House Of The Dragon reveals what actor Sir Creston Cole is supposed to look like

Honestly, I’ll say the last person I’ll compare to Dragon House Sir Creston Cole Game of thrones’ Uncle Drogo. As it turned out when they were groping a member of the King’s Guard in the lead, Fabian Frankl, who plays Cole, said the directors were looking for a physically fit actor Jason Momoa.

I understand why they wanted to build someone like Aquaman representative of the role. Cole is one of the strongest knights, he defeats the demon in a duo, kills several people, and he is definitely not afraid of fighting. while chatting with The New York Times Discussing the casting process and the original vision for his character, Frankel said:

I auditioned, and I heard nothing but that they were looking for a little more Jason Momoa type for the part. That definitely wasn’t me, and I never thought about it again.

I think Frankel felt what I felt when I found out this information, because these two actors are not two people I would compare, especially when it comes to fitness. Also, like me, the actor behind Ser Criston is curious why he was chosen when they were looking for someone who looks like a superhuman, not a human in very good shape. He continued his story of acting, saying:

I still don’t know him, and I’m intrigued to know him, is if they can’t find their own Jason Momoa type, or if they decide to change their selection brief. If I had the opportunity to ask them, I would.
