House of the Dragon Season 1 Final Series (HBO)
after rather The penultimate episode is lacklusterThe House of the Dragon finale has a lot to ride on. Namely, we hope to see more dragon rides and (fingers crossed) some dragon fight on dragon. Now that the Greens have been crowned King Aegon, Rhinera and Team Black will undoubtedly take revenge. It is highly doubtful that the old heir would accept any “terms” that Queen Aliscent would propose.
Rhaenyra still has supporters among the lords and knights of Westeros. She has more dragons, although her half-brother Prince Aemond has the largest dragon ever in Vhagar. You’ll need to make an army, which means recruiting more houses for your cause. Civil war is brewing. The question is who will hit first?

School of Good and Evil (Netflix)
Based on Suman Chinani’s bestseller, The School of Good and Evil is a bit evil, a bit Harry Potter. The film follows best friends Agatha (Sofia Wylie) and Sophie (Sophia Anne Caruso) after they are kidnapped and taken to the Emeritus Academy, which trains fairytale heroes and future villains.
Beautiful Sophie is entered into the evil side of the school, while the homely Agatha is selected for the good side. Their differing fates test their relationship, but both are determined to stay true to themselves and their friendship.

Now, Amazon seems to be getting its own Western universe, too, with producers of The Peripheral including Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy. In the near future, Flynne Fisher (Chloë Grace Moretz) is a smart young woman who doesn’t go fast anywhere while living in a small Appalachian town. American Horror Story Season 11 (FX)
From rampant rats to sick commuters on the subway, New York City is a treasure trove of American horror stories. So, naturally, Ryan Murphy takes his long anthology series to get rid of nightmares from the city that never sleeps.
AHS: New York City follows one story through several different time periods. Details of that story are unknown, as Murphy likes to keep his plots a secret. But we do know that, as usual, he has recruited a bunch of his regular lieutenants, including Billy Lourd, Dennis O’Hare, Zachary Quinto, and Leslie Grossman. The other faces, though, are new, including Kal Penn and Russell Tovey. Sarah Paulson is not in sight (crying).
