Sisterhood Prequel revolves around five other stars

After the resounding success of last year Dune Film, Warner Bros. Discovery runs entirely on the popular science fiction franchise by Frank Herbert. This will include Dune: Sistersa live-action series set to premiere on streaming service HBO Max, and will be based on the novel by Brian Herbert and Kevin J. Anderson. Dune Sisters. With production running Dune: Sisters Set to debut next month in Budapest, Hungary, the cast for the series is just beginning to take shape — including a number of new additions. On Friday, it was announced that Sarah Sophie Bosnina (Colonial, Knightfall), Shalom Bron Franklin (Tourist, line of duty), Faoileann Cunningham (Northman, The Witcher: The Origin of Blood), Aoife Hinds (Ordinary people, Derry girlsand Chloe LeahFoundation, great expectations) were all cast in the series.

Bosina will play Princess Jens, described as an independent young princess who deals with the pressures of her responsibility as the heir to the throne of the Golden Lion. Bron-Franklin will play Michaela, a strong-willed Freemaine woman who serves the royal family while longing for a home planet she’s never known before. Cunningham will play Sister Jane, a fierce and unpredictable assistant coaching at Sisterhood School who rarely reveals her emotional core. Hinds will play Sister Emilyn, a fervent aide descended from a long line of martyrs, who takes up the orthodox religion for her training in the Society of Sisters. Leah will play Lily, who is described as the youngest assistant at Sisterhood School with a deep empathy beyond her years.

What is the Dune: Sisters Around?

Dune: Sisters It was previously described as being told through the eyes of a mysterious command of women known as Bene Gesserit. Seeing their extraordinary abilities through their mastery of body and mind, Bene Gesserit expertly weaves through feudal politics and the machinations of The Imperium, pursuing their own plans that will eventually lead them to the mysterious planet Arrakis, known to its inhabitants as Dune. It will serve as an introduction to the films.

Dune: Sisters It will also star Emily Watson (Chernobyl, Hillary and Jackie), Shirley Henderson (Harry Potter, Miss Pettigrew, live for a day), and Indira Pharma (Game of Thrones, Star Wars: Obi-Wan Kenobi). Diane Ademu-John serves as creator, writer, co-showrunner and executive producer. Alison Schapker is a co-model and executive producer. Emmy Award-winning Johann Renck will direct the first two episodes and executive production. The series will be written by returning franchise writer Jon Spaihts, with Diane Ademo-John as the presenter, and Johan Renck as the director for the first two episodes.

Spaihts previously said during an interview with Playlist. “But that effort is still alive and well. I ended up moving from it to work, not just to work Dune: Part Twobut to investigate other cinematic prospects in Dune The universe, which we still talk about and which, again, I’m not allowed to talk much about. But it’s a very rich world to play in, and I think it’s full of storytelling opportunities in every direction. They’re on the right track, but I honestly don’t know the timing details.”
