My Hero Academia: Vigilantes may have ended his long run earlier this spring, but the artist showed his love for pro heroes with a fun new drawing of Mirko and Ryukyu that he shared with fans! The world of My Hero Academia is so big at this point that even series creator Kohei Horikoshi can’t tackle every interesting aspect of it. Fortunately, fans got to see a whole new side of the hero’s world with a special prequel series taking place a few years before the events of the main series. Introduced a new character who has surprising interactions with the main series’ protagonists.
My Hero Academia: Guardians It is constantly updating its list of free chapters with the Manga Plus app from Shueisha in Japan, and the latest installment of new additions highlights the Sky Egg arc from the occasional previous release. This was the fifth arc in the series series that saw Koichi Haimawari take on some surprising enemies along with some help from the main pro heroes, and although they don’t play a major role in the arc itself, My Hero Academia: Guardians Illustrator Peyton Court has shared a fun drawing of Mirko and Ryukyu to help celebrate! Her career ends earlier this year with six years and 126 chapters under her belt, My Hero Academia: Guardians It was an official prequel series set five or so years before the events of the main series. However, it is not a prologue in the traditional sense, as it focuses on Koichi and a small group of other like-minded citizens who decide to become vigilante champions outside of standard hero practices when their small town is ignored by the true professional champions. With this we end up seeing a whole new side of the main series.
Not only did it reveal younger looks for heroes like Mirko, Midnight, and even All Might, but it also revealed a huge arc from Shota Aizawa’s past who played such an important role in the main series. It was an arc that the main series didn’t have time to explore, and that’s just one of the main highlights of the spin-off that was able to play with more setting than the main series could.
