Mashle: Magic and Muscles is gearing up for its full anime debut next year, and the series has shared a closer look at its main protagonist, Mash Burndead’s character design for the new series! Hajime Komoto’s original manga series may be in the middle of its final arc as everyone fights for their lives against the final group of villains, but the franchise is preparing to explode with its own anime coming early next year. It’s been a while since we’ve gotten more animations in the works, but that’s starting to change.
Very little has been revealed about the production of Mashle: Magic and Muscles yet as it is currently set to release during a mysterious window next year, but the latest look at the series has been revealed from the pages of Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine. A closer look at Mash Burndead’s character design for the series. The anime will obviously pick up on Komoto’s deceptively simple art style for an adaptation, but that’s before all the action seen in the manga started. What is Mashle: Magic and Muscles?
Mash: Magic and Muscle The anime will premiere sometime in 2023, and the anime is being promoted as a “complete” adaptation of the manga series. Tomoya Tanaka will direct the new anime for A-1 Pictures, with Yousuke Kuroda handling the series’ scripts, Hisashi Toshima providing character designs, and Masaru Yokoyama composing the music. Chiaki Kobayashi will be voiced by Mash Berndid (Vinland saga, at that time I am reincarnated like slime and more) for anime.

They tease the first part of the series like this, “In the world of magic, magic is everything – everyone can use it, and one’s skill determines his social status. Deep in the woods, oblivious to the ways of the world, mash lives. Thanks to his daily training, he has become a god of fitness When Mash is discovered, he has no choice but to enroll in a school of magic, where he must beat the competition without revealing his secret – he can’t use magic! Live peacefully with his father in the woods. But the only way he will be accepted into the world of magic is Enroll in a school of magic and transform into a divine visionary – an exceptional student who is respected as the chosen one. But without an iota of magic in his name, Mash will have to work his way to the top.”
