Boruto: Naruto Next Generations has reached an interesting turning point in its Eda-focused arc, and the latest chapter of the series is that there are still some new powers that Boruto Uzumaki and Kawaki can unlock with more use of their karma! Now that Code is currently defeated and separated from Eda and her brother Daemon, the manga has taken a unique turn as the current plan is to bring the two powerful robots to Hidden Leaf Village for further observation and begin a cohabitation with Boruto and Kawaki before Aida takes her next step.

On a flight to make their way to Boruto and Kawaki, it seems like a pretty big deal until Amado actually explains that flying is just something the Otsutsuki Clan can do and something that Boruto and Kawaki will have the ability to do with Karma soon enough. .
What is this new power of karma?
Chapter 74 of the manga series brings Eida and Daemon to Hidden Leaf Village, and she accepts Shikamaru’s plan to live with Kawaki and Boruto while on watch. Explaining that she doesn’t want to stand out too much (since his strength makes a group of ninjas around her instantly fall in love), she decides to travel to her new home instead. He surprises Shikaramaru, but Amado reveals that flying is not only a power shared by those like Otsutsuki and Ida, but “even Boruto and Kawaki may start taking off before long.”
Having flying as an ability at their disposal would also raise the bar even higher than in the franchise’s past. While Naruto and his powerful forms have seen shinobi roaming in the sky, it is very different from having the full ability to fly. It makes Boruto and Kawaki’s ongoing evolutions with Karma more interesting if they’re able to use these god-like abilities when they’re at full power, and it heightens any sort of other secret abilities the Karma sign can have.
