Conners is set to welcome back Roseanne Vet Estelle Parsons As Beverly, the ever-ruling mother of Jackie and Roseanne, who is her first guest since season three, with COVID setbacks thwarting potential previous attempts to bring her back. And while I’ll freely admit that this might just be an off-the-base conjecture for the obsessive variety, take a look at the episode description for ConnersThe upcoming Thanksgiving episode and he tells me it doesn’t bode well for ol’ Bev.

If Biff had a cold, a stomach virus, or even the flu, it wouldn’t be a pleasant ordeal, but it probably wouldn’t elicit a reaction from Jackie, who tends to enjoy her mother’s misery. (This is understandable.) But does anyone have to “reconcile” with another “get sick” in a way that is only final?
With Jackie uprooted to move into Neville’s animal-bound bubble after the big wedding, Laurie Metcalfe’s character at home was on an emotional edge, and it was only a matter of time until Biff turned once again to her neurosis. But Biff will likely face a cancer diagnosis or something similar that will affect her daughter’s headspace in a very different way than usual, five or so years after Roseanne died of an overdose.
All that said, things don’t have to end frustratingly even if the November 16 episode did offer something heartbreaking. Even if Bev has cancer or some other life-threatening disease, it still doesn’t mean things are going to lead to death. It might just be a shock to Jackie’s system that her mother is losing her autonomy due to the health system, or something in that context, without Biff necessarily standing at death’s door, and bothering the Grim Reaper to open it.
Conners Already informally said goodbye to DJ, with Michael Fishman left Before the start of the season, as this was explained when he was out visiting his wife, as Mary was house-hopping in the meantime. But should fans be ready to bid farewell to Biff this holiday season?
Just to throw it in there, model Bruce Helford shared it TVLine in september that Conners The team was working on securing Estelle Parsons, saying there were “two important episodes” they had planned for Bev. So, while it looks like we certainly wouldn’t have to worry about her getting killed in the episode referenced above, that sense of security wouldn’t last long.
