THis photos are undoubtedly one of the most shocking of 2022, in which a dog was photographed running down a street with a human head cut off in its jaws.
The dog is believed to have been picked up at a horrific crime scene in the northern Mexican state of Zacatecas.
Authorities said the severed head was left on a piece of cardboard at an ATM in Monte Escobedo on Wednesday night, with a sign warning “The next head is yours.”
But before the intended recipient could spot it, the dog picked it up and bore its head out into the street.
The Jalisco Nueva Generation (CJNG) cartel, one of the world’s most feared cartels, is believed to be behind it.
He leads this cartel El Mencho, the most wanted person in Mexico. He is also wanted by the US authorities and they have set a reward of $10 million for information leading to his arrest.
The Mexican authorities did not identify the victim
Once the police found the dog and the head, they were able to pull it away from the animal.
However, the victim has not yet been identified and the rest of the body has not been found.
Zacatecas was the scene of a bloody war between local gangs backed by the Sinaloa and Jalisco drug cartels.
Mexico’s drug cartels often leave banknotes next to piles of dismembered human remains as a way to intimidate rivals or the authorities.
