Forget the World Cup in Qatar, the Nerdl Cup is the ultimate competition for minds | Games | entertainment

We may be just days away from the start of the World Cup in Qatar, but there’s only one competition that Nerdle players care about. The Nerdle Cup is a completely new multiplayer version of the popular number game, which takes inspiration from Wordle. Nerdle fans can face off to see who is smarter by visiting games website And choose from a variety of different rules.

You can choose the type of nerdle game you want to play – such as classic, mini and partial – before deciding how many rounds players must complete.

It is then a case of choosing the start time, followed by the length of time each round takes.

The creator will receive a code that can be sent to other competitors, who will be placed in a lobby and matched to the opponent.

Richard Mann, the creator of the Nerdle program, believes that the Nerdle Cup can be a useful tool in the classroom.

“We are constantly thinking of new challenges for nerdle super fans, and the nerdle cup is our latest innovation,” he explains.

“It injects a bit of healthy competition into the nerd’s daily schedule – this is especially useful in class because it encourages players to compete as high as possible and cross perceived barriers.

“We look forward to hearing how schools and friendship groups alike continue with the latest series to the bow nerd!”

The core game of Nerdle challenges players to figure out an entire 8-character account in just six guesses.

Similar to Wordle, you start with a completely empty grid. The color of the tiles turns green if you guess a number or a symbol in the correct position; purple if the number or symbol appears in the account but in a different position; or black if it is not displayed at all.

Each guess must be mathematically accurate, so you can’t get away with random numbers and symbols.

If you find the regular version too difficult, there is also an easy mode with fewer characters called Mini Nerdle.

There is also a timed release called Speed Nerdle, as well as one in which there is only one guess.
