Joe Wiseman, co-host of the show, took part in “The Challenge.”

I think so, and it’s definitely a challenge. The [Halloween] Kind of loop increases it. There is an actual life and death situation that the ghosts need to get some information for Jay in order to save Sam’s life, but how do they contact him? It’s kind of a weird way of cute that they can get this message across to him because he’s familiar with ghosts, because he likes to hear about ghosts, and Sam tells him about ghosts.
He may not be able to interact with ghosts (or even look in the right direction when he’s trying to talk to them), but he knows all about them thanks to Sam, and they know well enough to drop the right clues to direct them. to save his wife. Joe Wiseman continued on about the relationship between Jay and ghosts:
He knows that when Thor does this thing, that’s Thor and he should tell him to do something. He came up with an idea to tell Trevor to do the mirror, and then when that veers off, he knows that when Isaac passes through, something else was missing him, and he didn’t get the full message. So if Jay doesn’t care about the ghosts, or doesn’t listen when Sam talks about them, he won’t be able to discern any of that information, and he won’t be able to rescue them. So I love it.
Jay’s inability to actually see ghosts might just be a problem if he still couldn’t believe Sam when she insisted they were real. Now, he just accepts the weirdness, rolls with it, and sometimes proves that he’d thrive if he also had the ability to see it. Would it be fun if he got his wish someday? Probably, but Joe Wiseman explained to him the still invisible perks of spirits:
I think it’s better with Jay [not seeing them]. I like that he’s kind of jealous of Sam’s strength. He really wishes he could see ghosts himself, and I think it’s nice that they always fill him up. It’s not even jokes, but some of my favorite moments in this [Halloween] It was the episode where she was telling literally what was going on. It’s kind of funny like, yeah, of course she had to keep telling him about this weird hidden show going on in their house that he had no idea. He just trusts he’s there. Well, I liked this episode of Jay very much.
While it may be funny that Jay temporarily has the ability to see ghosts for some reason, the co-model made some great points about the humor and heart that just comes from him trusting that all of Sam’s scams actually happen, and goes along with it. . Personally, I don’t think I’d get tired of him looking in the completely wrong direction while facing a ghost, and it’s always fun when Pete wants to hook up with him. if it was Trevor without pants forever I would be glad if Sam came back as a ghost to spend eternity in the house after his death, I think Pete would be glad if Jay did the same!
