Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord

Proven archers are the least common type of troop in Bannerlord. While the Khozet faction can easily obtain them at the lower levels, some factions do not have any archer-type units available. Their rarity explains their amazing ability in battle. When used properly, a group of compound archers can take out an army ten times its size.

For all mounted units, it is best to use them in wide open spaces with small hills to slow them down or break their line of sight. These units can be ideal for early bombardments of an advancing enemy, as they shoot arrows while remaining out of their reach.

8/8 Jose Rider

Josette is known for having the most available composite units. The Khuzait Raider is one of the least complex units in the class and therefore the easiest to obtain. These changers only come with one quiver but it’s more than enough for their price.

These raiders also come equipped with a bayonet and a one-handed sword, perfect for any situation. Their recycled bow is ideal for horseback shooting and is mostly accurate despite the movement and aiming flaws.

7/8 Joset Horse Archer

Khel Khozet’s archer is very similar to the striker, except that he is better in every respect. The higher arc condition helps make it more accurate and deals more damage when hit. With higher riding skill, they can also maneuver and fight from horseback more efficiently.

While they do have a spear, their skill with handguns is relatively low. Despite this low skill, it can deal decent damage in a direct charge but is more effective when using a bow. Their skill becomes one-handed and their sword in hand if the enemy’s cavalry renders their bow insignificant.

6/8 Mamluk dynastic cavalry

The Mamluk Assyrian cavalry is skilled in the use of the bow and cavalry. Unlike most other cavalry units, they do not have a spear and are only useful from a distance. They also have a sword for close range combat but despite their skill is not as effective as other compound units.

While most archers suffer from weak armour, the Mamluk cavalry’s armor makes up for it. Their armor has good durability and is very useful for moving around the map to change poses to use a bow.

5/8 Heavy Horse Archer Josette

The Khozet Heavy Horse Archer has surprisingly heavy armor for a mounted archer unit. This helps to keep them alive and fight through long battles. With two darts of arrows, this unit is best for starting a fight and constantly keeping a distance while arrows rain down on the enemy.

With this unit’s high armor and decent one-handed skill, they are surprisingly adept at hand-to-hand combat. It would comprehend relatively good damage and would outperform many lower tier cavalry or loaded archers in one-handed combat.

4/8 josie

An archer is a higher class archer and has a higher bow which makes it deadly. They are able to fire accurate shots quickly, with arrows that deal large amounts of damage. Their skills help with the combat penalty of a moving horse, but if these units remain stationary, they will be more efficient.

These units are also equipped with a cover glass, capable of charging enemies for decent damage, but their low skill makes this a dangerous move. At close range, such units quickly disintegrate, and the probability of their damage is significantly reduced.

3/8 Heavy cavalry from the Mamluk era

The heavy Mamluk cavalry only had decent armor, but they had decent armor. This shield is effective for surviving enemy arrows, or for having the upper hand in close combat. Their swords do a great deal of damage and can be used for charging if they run out of stock.

Their arrows provide very large amounts of damage, which results in their skill set slightly lower compared to other outstanding shooters. While the Josettes have better riding skills at this level, the Aserai are much better equipped.

2/8 Imperial Buccellario

The Empire doesn’t have many composite units, but a few are top notch and some of the best units in the game. Buccellarii, like all Empire units, are heavily armored and capable of surviving long-range battles or combat.

Their barbed arrows deal massive damage, and their bow skills help make these arrows find their targets. Their bows are very accurate and take great damage, making them one of the best archers in the empires in general.

1/8 Khozet Khan Guard

Jose Khan’s guard has one of the highest bow skills in the game. They come with incredible riding skills and skills. Despite its installation, it is heavily armored, and it is not easy to take down.

These shooters also possess a pole-arm and a solid one-handed weapon, making these units ideal for any cavalry situation. These units are one of the best units you can get, and they can easily maneuver around the map to stay out of enemy’s reach.
