God of War, Sonic Frontiers and the FIFA World Cup dominate the biggest week of new game releases | Games | entertainment

Whether you’ve got your PS5, Xbox, PC, or Nintendo Switch, you’re all set to have fun during the second week of November. A lot of great games have been released in 2022, but it’s arguably no bigger than God of War Ragnarok on PlayStation 5. A direct sequel to 2018, Ragnarok has a date of November 9 on PS5 and PlayStation 4. Sony’s new flagship launch 24 – Hours after Sonic Frontiers and Football Manager 2023, and on the same day as EA’s new big FIFA World Cup 23 update.

Tactics Ogre: Reborn caps what is undoubtedly the biggest week of new game releases in 2022.

Based on early reviews, God of War Ragnarok is shaping up to be better than its predecessor.

The official description reads, “Join Kratos and Atreus on a legendary journey for answers before Ragnarök arrives.” “Father and son together must put everything on the line during their journey to each of the nine worlds.

“Across stunning mythical landscapes, they will encounter fearsome enemies – from Norse gods to wild beasts – as they prepare to face their lives.

Armed with his trusty weapon of war – including a Leviathan axe and Blades of Chaos – Kratos’ lethal skills will be tested like never before as he fights to protect his family. A host of new abilities await him and Atreus, and he leaves the space for flexible, expressive, and customizable combat in this The unshakable epic tale.”

On the other hand, Sonic Frontiers is the biggest Sonic the Hedgehog game ever and has five huge islands in the world that are full of secrets.

The game also uses a completely new combat system, which is much deeper and more comprehensive than previous Sonic versions. Sonic Frontiers will be available on PlayStation, Xbox, PC, and Nintendo Switch.

Football Manager 2023 also launches on November 8, but not on PS5. The PlayStation 5 version of the football management simulation was delayed due to “unexpected complications arising during the application and approvals process”.

Football Manager 2023 has a renewed recruitment system, licensed European competitions, and smarter opposition AI.

If you want something a little more hands-on, the FIFA 23 World Cup Update allows fans to play as any of the 32 eligible nations in a true re-creation of the FIFA World Cup 2022.

Alternatively, you can customize your experience by changing teams and groups, or rewrite history by changing the outcome of any previous game. Even better, the update is completely free.

Although it’s not as high-profile as the other games on the list, fans of old-school strategy role-playing games will be sure to check out Tactics Ogre: Reborn.

Coming to PlayStation, PC, and Nintendo Switch on November 11, Tactics Ogre: Reborn builds on the original 2010 release, only with improved graphics and sound, as well as updated game design.
