Marvel Studios Loki: The Art of the Series The book has just been dropped, revealing some very interesting behind-the-scenes information. We caught a glimpse of some great artistic concepts and learned some alternate directions in Season 1 of loki almost took. When it comes to Marvel projects, costumes are usually okay, but there were some special layers to those in loki. Since there are so many different variants of the personality, costume designer Kristen Wada had to be more creative when designing the look for each version. The new book reveals some facts about Chief Loki’s gang, and how some of the comics inspired Wada’s decisions.
In the book, Wada explains, “The gang of thieves led by Chief Loki bore the ‘Loki for President’ button.” may bull (2016) Depicting Lokis Collections. Director Kate Heron kept it at the top of her reference stack. This art then helped me expand on the many different ways in which the altered Loki can put together their looks. Producer Kevin Wright added, “We’ve been able to create all of these Thief versions of Loki… It’s just a testament to our costume department and Kristen Wada. I just got to get this total exposure and play on Loki’s design and Loki’s costume, and we see it across a dozen different people.” And we see what the universe can come up with with these slightly different versions of it.”
