Dragon Ball beat the MLS with the help of Gogeta

Dragon Ball is one of the biggest franchises in the world, and of course, it has welcomed millions of fans into its ranks. Over the decades, Goku and Vegeta have become icons in their own right thanks to their success. Fans of all ages look at the duo, and now, we know that the MLS stars feel the same way looking at Gogeta’s cameo at the 2022 Cup match.

If you didn’t know, Major League Soccer ended the 2022 season on that day, and it did so with an epic game. Los Angeles Football Club faced the Philadelphia Union in the final, and fans from all over the country came to watch the game. So when Gogeta appeared at Banc of California Stadium, many fans were about to watch.

Why was Gogeta there?

As you can see above, a huge piece of cloth was opened behind the LAFC goal at one point, and Gogeta was printed on the banner. The team used Gogeta’s latest appearance from the Dragon Ball Super movie to get fans excited. And of course, LAFC fans have been all for the honors since Gogeta was wearing the team’s colors.

The unveiling of the banner surprised everyone, but even opposing fans became unruly for Gogeta. It’s not every day you see Saiyan in a match, and when do you see? Well, you better like your best fan.

It also appears that Gogeta’s arrival has given the LAFC players the extra boost they needed in this cup match. Los Angeles FC came home with the MLS Championship trophy against Al Ittihad after a 3-3 draw with a penalty shootout. So if the team knows what’s up, they’ll keep Gogeta as a lucky charm when next year’s season starts…!
