Bleach: a bloody war for a thousand years Enter Kenpachi Zaraki fully in the new animated series after a decade of being lost in the business, and the captain once again explodes into combat as he releases him with more gore fighting style than ever before! The first few episodes of the new anime unleashed a powerful group of Quincies known as the Sternritter as they conquered the Soul Society. Both captains had encountered these enemies and found themselves struggling against them more than they expected, but it was very different for Kenpachi.
Kenpachi was one of the characters that fans were most excited to see in the anime taking the final arc of the manga series Tite Kubo, and the most recent episode of the series revealed exactly why fans were so anxious as he easily ripped apart three of his sternwriters. Ignoring many of their abilities with the same kind of complete frontal brutality that made him a fearsome foe in the past, Kenpachi is allowed to get pretty bloody in the new series to spark the kind of bloodshed he’ll lead as the anime continues.

How does Kenpachi return in the new Bleach anime?
Episode 5 of Bleach: a bloody war for a thousand years Some captains continue to struggle against their Sternritter opponents, but joyfully reveals that Kenpachi quickly killed three of the invaders while the others struggled with one. He revealed that he easily managed to eliminate an opponent who had turned into a giant gorilla but cut him in half, then killed another person who had some kind of strength using his words by slashing his throat, then killed another who imitated his abilities.

It’s the kind of obsessive Kenpachi level fight that fans have fallen in love with before, but it’s more violent to fit the darker tone and higher stakes of the final arc of the series. He’s now generally challenging the leader of the Sternritter, so it might not end up in the same bloody way, but it’s definitely a good tease for the kind of violence Kenpachi will unleash on the rest of the series moving forward.
