Spoilers in front of Episode 7 of Chicago BD The tenth season, titled “Into the Deep”.
Chicago BD It’s always the darkest of the three One Chicago shows, and it was safe to guess that revisiting a file An ongoing story about sex smugglers in plain sight PD Even places are darker than usual. In “Into the Deep”, Uptoncontrol Sean O’Neill It finally paid off (after so many sleepless nights), and the intelligence unit continued the whole investigation… which included trying to hide it From Chief O’Neill. Unfortunately, they weren’t able to close the case after they ran out of time and ran into some snags, which left me with a few questions about key points as I look forward to the rest of the fall season.
Would the intelligence have noticed the case if Halstead had not left?
The team would have hunted Sean in the ring if he hadn’t been informed, but it was Upton following her instincts and then almost constantly watching him who put him in the case in the first place. While she was doing some massive policing, it came from burying herself in the job to avoid coming home After her husband left. Intelligence may put some very bad people behind bars because Halstead is gone and there was no one to pull Upton. Would they have figured out the issue in the end even if Upton hadn’t picked up some unhealthy habits to deal with Halstead’s absence?
Will President O’Neill help intelligence?
President O’Neill apparently gave his son a heads up that CPD was going to raid him, and it sounded really bad to him…until Voight realized that O’Neill had thought intelligence was investigating Sean about drug use. Voight threw a bombshell that they were investigating Sean for child sex trafficking, and O’Neill responded by pushing him into a car and denying it. The look on his face showed that he was a little more troubled, and I was left wondering if he was willing to help the unit. He might want to help them out of the belief that he can clear Shawn’s name, or think that Shawn is really into something deeper and darker than drugs.
Did intelligence lose its bullet on Shawn?
Between his dad directing him to him and seeing Upton outside his apartment at the end of “Into the Deep,” it seems fair to say that Sean knows he’s watching, and it wouldn’t be safe to go back to Trafficking Bell. There are a lot of unknowns about the process at this point, but if he can cut all the strands of trafficking and start living a perfectly clean life on the surface, intelligence might not have another shot at him. They had to let the young woman who was most likely a victim of trafficking go after their time was up, and apparently they were out of relationships to hook them up with.
Will you save Upton?
After Upton seemed to be on the verge of collapse Rosick When he called off an operation incognito to rescue a girl, Voight took her outside and summoned her for wanting to “save something so bad now.” She didn’t bother to deny it (otherwise she was so sleep-deprived that she couldn’t even try), but she asked why it was wrong to want to save. It’s pretty clear that she needs to close this state and get the save for it, but it’s not clear what happens next. If she gets savings, it may prompt her to continue her unhealthy habits in the future. If you’re not… well, I really hope you win.
No matter what happens after the investigation into the Sean O’Neill case, fans may have to wait to find out. The promo In the next episode it is revealed that the case will involve a serial killer rather than sex trafficking, but the fall finale is fast approaching, and what better case for the conclusion than with the one with the president’s son himself? Will Atwater take on the role of detective after that? What actor Larus Hawkins said?
