House of the Dragon Star draws criticism for controversial show scenes

HBO finally released all its first episodes Game of thrones spin off, Dragon HouseAnd it was definitely a huge success for the network. The series focuses on the time 200 years before the events of Game of thronesshowing us the history of the Targaryen house. Dragon House Season 1 leads us into a major war between two factions of the Targaryen dynasty claiming the right to the Iron Throne. As with all things in Game of thrones Universe, the new series is pretty bloody and features a pretty horrific birth scene at the end. Emma Darcy recently had a conversation with GQWhere criticism was directed at some controversial scenes of the show.

Darcy noted that it shouldn’t be controversial to see women at work being portrayed in films and television. “Take a real problem with the idea that we shouldn’t see women in labor portrayed with gritty realism and blood and placenta.” The Dragon House The star went on to call people who wanted women to fit in on the screen.

“What we feel is that we want women to fit into a certain image,” Darcy told the magazine. “And which is interesting, as far as the acting is concerned, because, there’s also a lot of fun to have doing big, physically demanding physical sequences. And it’s interesting that maybe sometimes that’s not given to the female characters.”

Game of thrones Creator George RR Martin recently spoke about the Jon Snow spin-off in development in a new post on his blog. In the post, he revealed that he has collaborated with Harington on the series as well as two other mystery writers/show. Martin wrote in the blog post that he can’t reveal who will write the series but the Harrington team is great.

“Yes, it was Kit Harington who brought the idea to us.” Game of thrones Creator revealed. “I can’t tell you the names of the writers/show, they haven’t been released yet, but Kate brought them in too, his own team, and they’re great.”

In the last season of Game of thronesJon Snow learns his true identity as Aegon Targaryan, the true heir to the Iron Throne. After killing his aunt/girlfriend, Daenarys, to keep her from power, John is forced to choose a life of exile in the Night’s Watch. Instead of staying with the Night’s Watch, John heads to the North of the Wall to live with the Wildlings and the ghost of a dire wolf. The series is said to focus on what happened after these events.

“We’ve developed a lot of ideas, and we’re still developing a lot of ideas, and I think we’re really excited about the ideas that will air later this summer,” HBO vice president of original programming, Kara Buckley, said of Game of Thrones Spin-Off. “But we don’t feel the need to make another one unless it feels really creative for us. That’s my job, at least. And the team I’m on, that’s what we’ve been asked to focus on.”
