Aaron Carter died without a will: Who will inherit his fortune?

TCalifornia is due to decide from Certh Aaron Carterproperty following the death of the famous singer last week. Carter and his fiancée Melanie saw the Department of Children and Family Services remove his son Prince from their home.

Aaron, who was suffering from drug and alcohol addiction, was found dead in his bathtub. The 11-month-old now lives with Melanie’s mother, but is expected to inherit his father’s estate. According to TMZ, when one person dies without a will in California, the child gets their property.

Aaron’s lawyer has reportedly advised the singer to make a will despite going through a tough financial period. TMZ reported that his home was on the market, which means that Prince could get a portion of the profits.

“Aaron worked hard until the end of his life to recover, to be a good father and to make up for his family,” a spokesperson for Aaron told The US Sun after his death.

“Unfortunately, without proper recovery facilities available in our country and open borders, this is the cause of the outbreak.”

How did Carter die?

Aaron Carter was found dead in his bathtub by his housekeeper, and while it’s not entirely clear how he died, some suspect it is related to his long battle with drug addiction.

Less than two months before his death, he spoke of the battles he had with drugs, but insisted that he had been “sober for five years.”

“I got the work done, and worked with the most famous psychiatrists out there,” he told The Sun.
