Legion unveils epic X-Wing Terrain expansion

Atomic Mass Games is set to make your next game of Star Wars: Legion even more immersive, once you can add the massive, shattering X-Wing to your collection of terrains. The Star Wars: Legion Crashed X-Wing Battlefield Expansion brings five new miniatures to the game, four of which depict the scattered ruins of a crashed X-Wing, while the fifth miniature is the starship’s Rebel Pilot. As you can see in the image below, the X-Wing is in wide range for the Pilot, and it will certainly add some cinematic qualities to your next game, although it can also affect the gameplay.

This is because the expansion comes with a special scenario in which players will fight to save the wreckage of the X-Wing and either rescue or capture the pilot. The Crashed X-Wing Battlefield expansion will retail for $99.99 and could be Pre-ordered from the Asmodee Store here. You can find the official description below.

Players can add more thematic flair and unique scenario play out with this Battlefield expansion for Star Wars: Legion! Featuring four miniatures depicting the scattered rubble of a shattered X-wing starfighter, this pack immerses players deeper into the terrestrial battles of a galaxy far, far away. Far from thematic terrain. In addition to these miniatures, this pack also includes a Rebel pilot miniature that becomes the focal point of a daring rescue mission scenario as players fight to rescue the wreckage and rescue or capture the pilot.”

This is the latest in a series of impressive terrain expansions for the game and may be my favorite since Downed AT-ST. You can also get other Terrain expansions like Priority Supplies (supply crates and call stations) and Crashed Escape Pod, which also comes with miniatures of C-3PO and R2-D2.

The Star Wars: Legion Crashed X-Wing Battlefield Expansion will hit stores on December 16th.

Will the Crashed X-Wing Battlefield expansion add to the next Star Wars Legion game? Tell us in the comments or as always, you can talk all things Star Wars: Legion with me on Twitter @MattAguilarCB!
