Swerve Strickland and Keith Lee reveal that all of their AEW looks are inspired by Metal Gear Solid

AEW Full Gear was definitely a game-changer for many in the All Elite Wrestling roster after some huge wins and losses, and it turns out Swerve Strickland and Keith Lee entered the pay-per-view event with awesome ring gear inspired by Lime solid mineral series! while ex Swerve in our glory The tag team now has a lot to think about following the action, leading up to their match against the acclaimed AEW World Tag Team Champions, the two were more nervous than ever. This was reflected in their equipment as the two said Lime solid mineral to display the change.

As revealed in full by Swerve Strickland on Twitter after AEW Full Gear, he and Gear Lee were inspired by Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty Raiden and Solid Snake characters. It was definitely a fun aberration to see the duo slip into this screaming midst of a pay-per-view event in general, and one of the last bastions of fun they’d have as a duo for some time if the end of their match was anything to go by.
