The new creepy and scary on Netflix this week wasn’t just about Wednesdays. That said, we’re all hoping the Tim Burton-directed series about the Addams family teens gets a second season and it’s good enough for our list of best Netflix shows.
This is partly because we love the look of this series. But it’s also about the supporting cast: Gwendolyn Christie plays the headmistress of the new school that Wednesday enrolls in, having her brother’s revenge on her hands. Furthermore, the cast who portray members of Mrs. Addams’ family—Catherine Zeta-Jones (as Morticia Addams), Luis Guzman (as Gomez Addams) and Isaac Ordonez (as Pugsley Addams)—are all listed as “extra cast,” Our concern is that we will only get it in small doses. And we need everything we can get from Luis Guzmán as Gomez.
Looking up and down the lineup, another big hit for Netflix is the true crime documentary Ghislaine Maxwell: Filthy Rich. The film highlights the actions of Jeffrey Epstein’s partner, illustrating their crimes with stories from survivors of sex trafficking.
Also, we have a new stand on Trevor Noah, the movie My Little Pony and what appears to be a documentary about the British royal family.
