Power Rangers’ Amy Jo Johnson, Austin St. John, and more pay tribute to Jason David Frank after his death

This weekend, Hollywood lost a true TV icon in shape power Rangers star Jason David Frank, who passed away committed suicide at the age of 49. For decades, best known for his role as green (and white, red and black) vigilante Tommy Oliver on the long-running show, Frank was much loved by fans. Since then, many of these devotees have flooded social media to pay homage to the late actor and MMA fighter. Plenty of PR alums have also spoken out and paid tribute, and that includes franchise OGs like Amy Jo Johnson and Austin St.

Those who watch religiously (and dressed like) Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Back in the ’90s, I know without a doubt that a certain person was the apple of Tommy’s eye. The Pink Ranger was Kimberly Hart, played by Amy Jo Johnson. She and Jason David Frank’s characters embarked on a romance, but in real life, the two actors struck up a friendship. They were even involved cameo in 2017 notice Movieone of which showed Frank Sports with an old school look. With all of this in mind, it was only fitting that Johnson took to Instagram to pay homage to her friend and colleague:
