In Atlanta, they have IMPACT (Income Mobility Program to Transform the Atlanta Community). It lasts for one year and 300 Atlanta residents living in poverty get $500 a month for a year. In Illinois, about 3,000 Cook County residents are getting $500 a month in a program set to begin in December 2022. Gainesville, Florida is helping 115 formerly incarcerated people by paying $1,000 and then $600 a month. There are also many programs in states such as Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Mississippi, New York, North Carolina, South Carolina, Pennsylvania, DC, and Virginia.
