The Marvel Cinematic Universe got even more festive on Friday, with the launch of Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special on Disney+. The standalone special follows the lovable team of cosmic aliens on a bizarre adventure, one that he previously teased is unlike anything the franchise has seen before. In the lead up to the special’s debut, there have been plenty of theories circulating about the surprises and connections it could have to the larger MCU, including whether or not famed actor Mark Hamill could be involved in the project. Towards the end of the special, after Peter Quill/Star-Lord (Chris Pratt) chastises the team for kidnapping Kevin Bacon and bringing him into space, Knowhere’s holiday celebration begins to wind down both figuratively and literally. For a brief second, Ravager can be seen wearing a holiday hat and drinking from a bottle – a Ravager who looks a bit like Hamill. While writer-director James Gunn has yet to confirm whether or not this is Hamill, the background actor in the movie special called Sean Smith He claims that he is actually a completely unrelated actor named Troy Beecham.
