Unlike Black Friday, which now starts in October, Cyber Monday is a lightning fast event. Sure, there are still many good Black Friday deals you can buy, but many retailers — and shoppers — are now moving to the Cyber Monday deals.
I’ve been covering trades professionally for 15 years now and I can let you in on a secret: they are the same. Years ago, Cyber Monday focused on online retailers, but these days, every online retailer has it. Yes, some deals may see additional price drops here or there, but overall – changes will be minor.
Another secret I can tell you is that this weekend retailers will either be holding back on purpose or running out of stock altogether. 48-inch OLED TV for $569 (Opens in a new tab), for example, is no longer available at Best Buy. Even the 55-inch model for $799 (such an amazing deal) is now sold out at Best Buy (Opens in a new tab) And the Amazon (Opens in a new tab). I’m sure they’ll be back in stock in a few days (or maybe even hours), but my point is: If you see an excellent deal right now – buy it. The price probably won’t drop too much and by securing it now – you’ll be assured you won’t have to wait weeks for it to arrive.
