John Lennon – The White Album (1968)
Lennon revealed in a 1971 interview about the Beatles’ break-up a year earlier, but his quotes didn’t see the light of day until they appeared in the 1984 edition of Penthouse – four years after his murder.
The late Beatle claimed that Paul didn’t like The White Album because he “wanted it to be more of a group, which really meant more Paul. So he never liked that album.”
