King Charles Castle’s Windsor is beautifully decorated with a huge 20-foot tree just before Christmas

Fresh from King Charles’ estate in Windsor This is it 20-foot Nordmann spruce.

It’s in St George’s Hall, one of the largest and most impressive state rooms at Windsor Castle, a palace that has had a royal presence since William the Conqueror.

The inspiration behind the decorations

Catherine Jones is Senior Curator of the Royal Collection of Art and Historic Items in Palaces of the United Kingdom.

It says that this is just one of the trees to come from the Crown Estates of Windsor.

“We own Eight trees are conspicuously on display here, the most notable of which is the 20-foot-tall Nordmann fir found in St George’s Hall, Covered by 3,000 Christmas trees and then decorated. And this year, we opted for a purple look there,” says Jones.
